New Work: Outside/Inside

New work in my Loss series, Outside/Inside. How someone appears to be while out in the world is not necessarily what they are feeling inside. Someone can be all smiles and appear very happy to those who see them, but they may be feeling physical or emotional pain and suffering inside. The top half of the embroidery in the center is what we would normally see. The bottom half shows the untidy threads and knots in the back, which is hidden. Both representing our outside and inside.
