Acrylic, charcoal and pastel on plywood panel 16" x 12" I had the need to get back to neutrals and perhaps a more sensitive approach. High chroma painting bothers me a bit but now and again I go back to it just to test out where my true feelings are. Here it felt like a privilege to be able to work again gently and quietly, just making and hiding, making and covering. Veils and layers and traces of marks. This is a gesso panel.
